Forest Road, St Martin
Forest Road will be closed from early Monday morning (11th March) through until early Saturday morning (16th March).
The closure of the road section between Le Chene Traffic Signals and Forest Road Garage is to enable Guernsey Electricity, Guernsey Gas and Sure Telecoms to carry out works at a number of properties in the road.

Traffic heading from the Airport towards St Peter Port - Will be diverted at Le Chene Hill -NOT THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS - through La Soucique Lane and then turn left along La Villiaze Road as far La Hougue Fouque crossroads, before turning right and following the St Andrew's Road as far as Le Vauquidor and Mount Row Traffic Signals.
Traffic heading from the Airport towards St Martin - Will be diverted at Le Chene Hill -NOT THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS - through La Soucique Lane and then turn right along La Villiaze Road and continuing through Chemin Le Roi, Les Moulpieds and La Planque Lane before rejoining their route at Les Cornus.
Traffic heading from Town heading towards the Airport - Will be diverted at Mount Row Traffic Signals, through St Andrew, and Les Blicqs as far as Le Chene Hill where they will then be able to turn right and continue towards the Airport.
Traffic heading from St Martin towards the Airport - Will be diverted at Longue Rue Traffic Signals as far as Mount Row Traffic Signals, where they then join the diversion route through St Andrew and Les Blicqs as above.
Temporary One-Ways and Speed Limits
The closure of Forest Road requires traffic under diversion to use a number of lanes that are not suitable for two-way traffic flow with the traffic volumes affected. Therefore, a number of roads and lanes will be subject to temporary one-way working and a temporary speed limit of 20mph will apply.
Rue des Agneaux will be one-way from La Soucique Lane to Chemin Le Roi crossroads. The Chemin Le Roi, Les Moulpieds and Les Planques will be one-way from Chemin Le Roi crossroads towards Les Cornus.
Access to Forest Road Garage and Channel Island's Ceramics
Both of the above businesses will be accessible and signposted from Chemin Le Roi and Les Cornus, with signs directing customers accordingly.
Notes:
The main works area is just below Le Chene Hotel.
Vehicles will be able to turn from Les Cornus into Le Bequet Lane, but not along La Planque.
Residents of Forest Road, should access their properties via Les Cornus.
